“To be yourself in a world that is constantly trying to make you something else is the greatest accomplishment.” ~ Ralph Waldo Emerson
We are like leaves in the wind of change and chance when we let ourselves be lured away from our own essence. Too often, this doubt of our own right to be and our unique gift to the world, is a script written and internalised long before we had a sense of self-worth or a filter to resist all that does not reflect the truth of our own being.
We are bucking a culture that applauds sameness and counts ‘likes’ and stays busy. Being popular does not support the deepest joy of self-knowledge that leads to the self-love and the freedom that releases our heart. To discover our own essence, that unique expression of a beautiful soul in a glorious world of infinite variety and possibility is to know your greatest accomplishment.
