“Face the facts of being what you are, for that is what changes what you are.” Soren Kierkegaard
Many of us want change in our lives but do not know how to go about actioning it or what exactly it is we want to change. Too often what we want to change is beyond our control and we remain frustrated and unhappy without recourse to shifting. O rtoo many in our lives give their opinion of who we are and when we get too Kierkegaardsure of ourselves offer a ‘reality check’. Taking stock of where you are now, your present state of mind and body and you general outlook will provide a great starting point to where you want to go and how to reset your own reality check point.
To understand that what you are experiencing at this moment in time is not your reality, but rather the cumulative result of a lifetime of thousands of thoughts and actions – some large and some minuscule that led to this moment. Accept that where you are is all of what went before this moment. This is incredibly empowering as you make the next choice of thought or action consistent with where you want to go and who you want to be. Want a reality check reset? Push that ‘I AM’ switch!
Me agapi (with love),
