“To be what we are, and to become what we are capable of becoming, is the only end of life.” ~  Robert Louis Stevenson

We may set goals for ourself and achieve some and fail at others but we do not truly fail in anything except to fail to be all that we may be. We are a living work in progress and have the inner essence to become the very best version of ourselves. But unless we follow our heart’s desires, we may achieve fame and fortune but never real and lasting personal fulfilment.

At the end of life, the accoutrements of living, the material wealth, the status, the prestige will be meaningless if they represent a soul unfulfilled. Self-fulfilment is our purpose in life and we discover who and what we are by playing out our roles in work, family and society. We attain true selfhood when we bring our whole heart and self to all of these relationships. Do you sometimes wonder who you really are – your authentic self? It’s easy to find out – just do anything with all your heart!

Me agapi (with love),

Marilyn
