Gardening is how I relax. It’s another form of creating and playing with colors. ~ Oscar de la Renta.
To tap into the creative mind, we must not focus too hard, but take the soft peripheral perspective of life. When we choose to relax and create in a garden, play a guitar, paint on canvas, write a poem, go for a walk, or just sit quietly in the grass under a tree, we invite creation to join us.
In our culture, our minds are over active and our senses overstimulated. Our bodies, while we may be active or passive, process stresses and energies that take their toll physically and block our creativity. Finding the way to enjoy relaxation allows the body to unwind and the mind to float on clouds.
Me agapi,
Marilyn
