“Everybody needs beauty as well as bread, places to play and pray in, where nature may heal and give strength to body and soul.” ~ John Muir

In our high tech world, so focussed on the screens before us, we slide away from the deepest human needs. We require the sustenance of the ephemeral every bit as much as the material. Beauty to lift our hearts as much as bread to nourish out bodies.

We require recreation to allow our minds to flood with inspiration and our bodies to revel in their own rhythm and relaxation. A quiet place of prayer or meditation to connect to the glorious mystery of Creation. And the embrace of Nature to revel in Life itself and know, unequivocally, our place in it.
